Truong Han Sieu temple

The temple of culture well known person Truong Han Sieu is located in the Thanh Binh ward, Ninh Binh province. The temple is built in the base of Non Nuoc Mountain and intersection of Day River and Van River.

Truong Han Sieu temple was built since 1998 including three palaces and two back rooms. The temple owned a rectangular big words plate written in Chinese character with four words “Truong Thang Phu Tu”. The temple is a cultural monument to show the respect and pride towards the cultural well known person from Ninh Binh people.

Truong Han Sieu was talented in both literature and martial arts. He was the follower of King Tran Quoc Tuan. Then he was the officials in the dynasties of Tran Anh Tong to Tran Du Tong and titled as Sir (teacher) by the Kings. Truong Han Sieu had composed the law of Vietnam feudal with Nguyen Trung Ngan.

The temple of Truong Han Sieu is the place for religious practice of local people and travelers. In the celebration of 20 years reestablishing the province and five years of Ninh Binh city, people have contributed amend the temple and cast a statue of Truong Han Sieu. That is a bronze statue in the proportion 1:1, and it is worshipped in the temple of Truong Thang Phu.
